Location

Green River Below Flaming Gorge Dam

Overview

Although the water is higher than normal for this time of the year, the flows are stable and the fish are used to it.  You just need to look to softer flows to find the feeding fish.  Deep nymphing, the tried and true day in and day out producer is definitely the top producing method. Streamer fishing the deeper, slower water has been quite productive as well.  Dry fly fishing during the hatch has been good in the back eddies, slower edges and seams.
