Location

Green River Below Flaming Gorge Dam

Overview

The Green is flowing around 860 cfs out of the Flaming Gorge Dam. The baetis are here. The hatch can start anywhere from 11am to 2pm depending on the day and weather. Typically the hatch is better, with more fish eating up top, on overcast days. Dry flies, emergers, and nymphs have all been productive. Streamer fishing can still be productive below Red Creek. Midge patterns should be productive until the baetis hatch.
