Location Green River Below Flaming Gorge Dam Overview The Green is flowing very high right now, be careful boating or wading the Green. The flows should remain this way for 1 more week. Fishing the Green with heavy nymph rigs or streamers will produce some fish. When the river drops below about 3500 CFS. the fishing should go crazy. Cicada's are there and the fish will start to key in on the Cicada's and other bugs on the surface at that water level. Pay close attention to the water temperature it is cold now and as the temperature climbs the fish activity will increase also. The best fishing of the summer is going to happen our best guess is the middle of June will be excellent. Latest Flows ~7340 CFS.
