Lower Provo River

Overview

The Lower Section of the Provo River below Deer Creek Reservoir is currently at 700 CFS. The flow is starting to approach the high side of what’s good to wade. The higher flows have slowed the dry fly fishing, but the nymphing has remained constant. Midges and BWOs still being the main food source with a lesser extent of sows and worms.
