Location

Lower Provo River

Overview

The Lower Provo is still flowing at about 700 CFS out of Deer Creek Reservoir. The river is high and the fishing has been decent. Where you can find flatter and slower water you can usually find fish. It is tricky with the higher flows but there are opportunities for good Dry Fly fishing and Nymphing. There are still some Caddis, and PMD’s hatching throughout the day, but the hatch is much more sporadic with the higher flows. Watch out for tubers! As we move into fall and school picks back up, we will start to see less and less tubers.
