Overview

The Lower Provo is flowing a little high and cold for this time of the year.  Therefore, the hatch is behind schedule.  Some people are having success with midge dry flies, but it has been mainly nymphing using sow bugs, midges, and some beatis patterns.  The midge hatch has been starting earlier in the morning and there has been some blue wing activity in the middle of the day.

Nymphs: Size 18-22

Sow bugs, zebra midges, bling midge, disco midge, juju midge, juju beatis, beatis nymph, barr emerger.

Streamers : Size 4-12

Zonker, wooly bugger, sculpzilla, sparkle minnow
