Location Lower Provo River Overview The Lower Provo is currently high and off-color. The most productive method will be nymphing. Try using san juan worms, and sow bugs. Location Lower Provo River Overview The Lower Provo has risen flowing around 615 cfs. Its a higher flow, dificult wading so be careful. Various "Junk Food" flies are still working, and the PMDs are hatching midday. The hatch should start around 11ish. Try fishing the emerger patterns. Various "Junk Food" flies are still working, and the PMDs have arrived. The hatch should start around 11ish. Try fishing the emerger patterns. Location Lower Provo River Overview The Lower Provo is flowing around 800 CFS. now please be careful wading and fishing the Lower. The river came up again about 3 or 4 days ago and our guides have had good fishing despite the higher water. Various "Junk Food" flies and some Baetis and Midges are getting them good. Lots of boats and tubes on the river now. The big "Bows" have been active and our anglers have found some real good ones. Try heavy nymph rigs if you are trying to get them look for slower water areas with some depth. Sow bugs as always are a good choice too. Recent Flows ~800 CFS.
