Location
Middle Provo River
Overview
Good news! The middle has dropped down to 300 CFS. This is a much more wadable flow and a lot closer to what we’re used to this time of year. That being said there are plenty of bugs on the river. We have seen Caddis, PMD’s (still), BWO’s, and plenty of midges. There are still some hoppers bouncing around, but that eat is starting to slow down. Nymphing small flies (22-26) is still your most productive option, but there is plenty of dry fly opportunity throughout the day. The middle of the day has been a little more consistent, with bug hatches being pretty random and sporadic.
