Location Middle Provo River Overview The Middle Provo went up again since our last report, but its trending back down and right now it is at ~1500 cfs so continue to be cautious when near the river. This flow is very high and the water is swift. Dry fly fishing, if any, will only be in the slow water. The fish are holding anywhere they can catch a break from the flow, so nymph in slower water as well. Keep fishing the flies from your "junk food collection" AKA Sow Bugs, San Juan Worms, Wigglies, Squirmies, Scuds, and some midges or caddis nymphs. Small and Medium sized streamers tend to work when the water is higher.
