Overview

The Weber river has been down to 100cfs for about a month now. With the drop in water the temps have risen. Try to fish moto-cross track or above and limit fishing to the early hours of the day. Water temps in the Judd and Creamery area have been above 65deg in the afternoon. Sow bugs, pmds and midges are working. Terrestrials are starting to work too, so try small flying ants and small hoppers. The evening caddis hatch have been sporadic and in random spots on the river

Weber River

Overview

The Weber river has been holding between 180-200cfs for about a month now. Caddis has died down but they’ll still eat the nymph. Sow bugs, baetis and midges are also still working. With the heat terrestrials should start coming into play with the occasional evening caddis for dry fly fishing.

Weber River Fishing Report 5/19/2021

Location

Weber River

Overview

The Weber River has finally come up and it is fishing very well. Caddis are rampant, and sow bugs are stirred up. Although there are a lot of adult caddis on the river only a few fish want to eat up top. The most productive method will be nymphing. Consider throwing a dry with a beaded caddis pupa dropper.
