Our Utah fly fishing reports offer a brief overview of current conditions on our waters. You'll find fishing reports for the main Utah rivers and streams that we guide on and fish regularly. Reports for the Lower Provo, Middle Provo, Weber River, Green River and Small Streams are included.

We write the reports based on our daily experiences on the water and information received from customers. We update the reports as conditions change and our schedule permits. If you don’t see what you are looking for, please give us a call at the shop or contact us here. We are always happy to update you with current conditions on many other Utah waters and fisheries in surrounding states as well.

As a result, you may see multiple reports on the same destination if we haven't updated one of the other destinations recently. Weber River Fishing Report 8/07/2021

  Location Weber River Overview The Weber river has been down to 100cfs for about a month now. With the drop in water the temps have risen. Try to fish moto-cross track or above and limit fishing to the early hours of the day. Water temps in the Judd and Creamery area have been above 65deg in the afternoon. Sow bugs, pmds and midges are working. Terrestrials are starting to work too, so try small flying ants and small hoppers. Green River Fishing Report 08/07/2021

    Location Green River Below Flaming Gorge Dam Overview Flows have been raised to help fill up lake Powell. Average is 1600cfs with flows varing from 1100cfs in the moring to 1800cfs by the afternoon. The increased water has helped the nymphing out with some dry fly action still to be had as well. Some terrestrial action has been reported on the lower river. Middle Provo River Fishing Report 8/07/2021

  Location Middle Provo River Overview The Provo has been raised to around 500cfs. This has made the hatches more sporadic and cooled the water a bit. Between active hatches focus on small midges and be on the look out for pmds and caddis to hatch during the day. Latest Flows Dam: ~500 cfs. Lower Provo River Fishing Report 7/06/2021

Location Lower Provo River Overview Rubber Hatch. The river is flowing around 500 cfs but has been fluctuating a bit. Fishing can be good if you don't mind the river traffic. This is a somewhat high flow so be cautious when wading. Nymphing should be the most productive. Try out your PMDs, sows, and caddis nymphs. The slow and deep pools are not the only places holding fish.
