Location Green River Below Flaming Gorge Dam Overview The Green below Flaming Gorge Dam is flowing at 1350 CFS. Starting tomorrow (July 30th) the average daily releases will be 1800 CFS. There will be a 10 a.m. bump from about 1200 CFS up to 2000+ CFS. This fishing has been good, but can be tricky. We are seeing lots of fish pushed up close to the banks. Dry fly fishing has been good, but do not rule out running a dropper (or even just nymphing.) Location Green River Below Flaming Gorge Dam Overview The Green below Flaming Gorge Dam is still flowing at 825 cfs with a bump in flows up to 1500 cfs at 4 p.m.. This fishing has been good, we are seeing crickets, some limited Cicadas, and very good fishing overall right now. With the water temps rising, we have been seeing more and more fish looking up. The Cricket fishing has been our go to for the last few days as well as some caddis and yellow sallies throughout the day. Fish are pushing closer to the banks. Location Green River Below Flaming Gorge Dam Overview The Green below Flaming Gorge Dam is still flowing at 825 cfs. This fishing has been good, we are seeing some crickets, some limited Cicadas, and very good fishing overall right now. The water temperature is rising quickly, and we expect to see Yellow sallies in the lower river very soon. The crickets (regular small black ones, not the large Mormon crickets) are producing some good dry fly action and the dry and dropper fishing is good also. Nymph fishing has been excellent. The lower river has cleared and is fishable now, (this could change with thunderstorms) time for the lower B section and C section.
