Middle Provo River Fishing Report 05/24/2025

Location Middle Provo River Overview In the last week we saw flows on the Middle Provo rise to 908 CFS. We expect this outflow from Jordanelle Reservoir into the river to stay at the flow for the next few weeks. Being that the river is high, nymphing has been the more productive option with there being very few bugs hatching to the surface, and very few fish looking up. Fishing is still good, there are some caddis nymphs in the water and as flows start to come down, we should expect to see some Caddis start to come off. On any given day, nymphing small midges, BWO's, and baetis is the more productive option. On cloudy/stormy days you can find some BWO's making an appearance but the dry fly eat is hit or miss.
